The Positive Place for Kids

The Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valley provides a solution to the problems facing youth today.  Boys & Girls Clubs nurture young people’s self-esteem by instilling in them a sense of belonging, usefulness, influence and competence. 

Children are greeted each day by name, with smiles and encouragement from our caring, professional staff.  This sense of belonging and ownership, the sense that it’s their Club, is empowering to young lives.  And the low cost of membership ($52/year) makes the program accessible to those who need it most.  The Club attracts and guides young people with programs that encompass five core areas, see links for more information on programs offered.
