2012 Youth of the Year

14 year old Alicia Jones was recently selected as the Boys & Girls Club's Youth of the Year. Alicia competed against eight other high-schoolers in August to win the title. Youth were nominated based on grades, Club participation and overall citizenship. The first round of competition required a written essay from each nominee, along with an interview with three staff members. Three finalists were interviewed by a panel which included the Executive Director and two board members. It was a very close competition and Alicia worked hard to win the title! Whe will be introduced at Celebrate Kids on October 22nd. Congrats!
